The XENO NFT Hub (https://xno.live) provides a crypto-powered trading platform for digital items and collectibles that allows users to create, buy and sell NFTs. In addition, it supports auction-based listings, governance and voting mechanisms, trading history tracking, user rating, and other advanced features.
As a first step towards its fully comprehensive service, XENO NFT Hub launched a recent VIP service in December 2020 to select users and early adopters, with plans for a full public beta opening in June 2021.
“NFTs are extremely flexible in their use, from digital event tickets to artworks, and while NFTs have a very broad spectrum of uses and categories, XENO will initially focus its collaborative efforts and its own item curation on three primary areas: gaming, sports and entertainment. , and collectibles. Said XENO NFT Hub Chairman Anthony Di Franco.
He added, “This does not mean that we will ban other types of NFTs from our ecosystem. However, it just means that XENO’s efforts as a company will initially focus on these verticals as a cohesive business approach.”
Gabby Dizon, Head of Development and Procurement, explains: “Despite our initial focus, we had a unique opportunity to host a number of works by Mr. Hiro Yamagata. We’ve teamed up with Japanese artist Hiro Yamagata to bring some of his artworks into NFTs. ”
Mr. Yamagata is considered by many to be one of the most famous screen printing artists for the use of vibrant colors in his pieces. However, he has also recently become known for his contemporary works with laser and hologram technology. He is recognized as a pioneer of contemporary laser art. Some of his most famous works are ‘Dreams of Disney’ and ‘Restoring of Mercedes-Benz’.
“Through the power of blockchain and its application in NFT technology, Mr. Yamagata’s works are immortalized in an immutable public ledger. That is a very powerful thing for both artists and art collectors ”, added Mr Di Franco.
One of the most important factors in the art world is the provenance and history and context of both the artist and the artwork itself. Using blockchain, there is now a complete and fully transparent history of the artwork’s lifespan, starting with the artist and ending with the current owner. NFTs bring unprecedented ownership and historical accuracy with guarantees that cannot be offered anywhere else.
“The NFT market is still young, but many, such as Mr. Yamagata, have expressed an interest in using this new medium to reach a new market and add value to their existing customers. There is a growing movement of individuals and companies eager to buy these unique digital assets, ”continued Mr. Dizon.
XENO’s VIP service started when Mr. Yamagata’s (and other digital items) were listed in auction and direct sale formats with great success and positive feedback from users. It plans to roll out a wider closed beta in the near future and launch a full public beta on its own network in June 2021.
